The Foundation is named in memory of Lim Hoon, the late father of the foundation’s Chairman and founder Mr John Lim. Lim Hoon dedicated much of his adult life to the early development of Singapore’s budding education system. He first served as a teacher of Tao Nan School in the early 1950’s and retired in 1970.
Lim Hoon Foundation Scholarship
The Lim Hoon Foundation Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate students pursuing the Bachelor of Business Management programme at Singapore Management University. The Scholarship is aimed at motivating the students to achieve greater heights of excellence and at providing them with financial support.
